Price Based Shipping Rules, Squarespace Commerce
Many businesses want to offer free shipping over £100, $100… on their website. Currently the only option is to use automatically applied discount codes which are only available on the Advance Commerce plan. Whilst there isn’t a built-in option to do this in Squarespace there is a work around.
Step 1.
When your set-up a product simply enter the price of the product and then put the same value as the weight. For example, if a product is £5.00, enter the weight as 5KG.
Step 2.
Navigate to Commerce > Shipping. Now add a new shipping option and select Depending on Weight.
Step 3.
Give your shipping option a name. Now you will need to set-up the price ranges. If you want to offer free shipping on orders over £100 then enter the weight range as 0-99.99KG. Then enter the price that you would like to charge for each price break. You can add as many price breaks as you like.
Just remember that when you update the price of a product on your website that you will also need to update the weight to match the price.
That’s all, you can now offer priced based shipping on your website.
